You can find local history sections at both of our branches. Most of our items are for in-library use only, but some items can be loaned out for use at home. We also have a curated list of some of the items that you can borrow and take home that you can peruse in the library's catalogue.

You can also check out the local history collection at the Newmarket Public Library, as most of their collection overlaps with ours. Their local history collection has the Newmarket Era, family and Town histories, Newmarket Historical Society publications, and so much more. It can be accessed at the Newmarket Public Library website.
