How do I register for the TD Summer Reading Club?

After registration, you can pick up your starter kit at your preferred branch (supplies limited). The TD Summer Reading Club program runs from June 29 to August 25 (last day to log reading)

Teen Video Book Review Contest
We’re looking for future book influencers and content creators! The library is launching a new contest for teens who love to read and share their opinions on books. We are inviting teens (ages 13 – 17) to create a video review of a book they recently read. The video can be shorter in the style of your favourite BookTok recommendations or longer Youtube style reviews. A winner will be selected and receive 2 tickets to Fan Expo 2023 in Toronto.
Rules/Guidelines
- Submissions will be accepted June 30th to August 1st
- One submission per person is allowed
- Participant must be aged 13 – 17
- Video length must be between a minimum of 40 seconds and maximum of 2minutes
- The video should cover your favourite/least favourite parts of the book and if they would recommend it to others (please don’t just retell the plot!)
- You can enter by sharing their videos on Instagram and tagging us @eg_public_library or by uploading to Dropbox

Fun at both library branches from 5-7 PM. Come for activities, crafts, and special guest visits from the Sharon Temple and the EG Gardeners.
Tie Dye Party
Mount Albert: July 26th, Holland Landing: August 4th.
Come have fun and make a tie-dye creation with us! Bring something white and dye it in as many patterns as you want. Costs $2. Register in your local branch
