Writing Prompts
Need some extra inspiration for your story? Why not use some of our writing prompts!
- Here we go, I thought to myself, just step through this portal… who knows where I’ll end up?
- When I closed my eyes, I started to dream, to daydream, and I ended up in my own world that looked like…
- I walked down the grassy path, along the river edge and through the trees. Eventually I came across the smallest door I have ever seen.
- It was so unreal, one of those things you never would have expected. One night you look up, and the stars are… not the same, but different, somehow?
- Both suns had risen in the sky, turning it a vibrant purple; there was no sign of acid rain, so today was going to be a good day.
- Lights flashed on the space station, and information was downloaded onto a computer. Who knew such a normal activity would lead to the discovery of intelligent life?
- Who knew that I would end up landing in a strange, unfamiliar world?
