The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. Registration for the Summer Reading Club begins June 28th. Participants will set their own reading goals and get prizes throughout the summer for reading at home or online. Kids will also receive a book to track their progress and a special tote bag for free!

TD Summer Reading Kickoff Party

Explore the Natural World with us and be one of the first to sign up for the 2019 Summer Reading Club. The launch party will feature interactive activities in partnership with the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, the Sharon Temple, and the East Gwillimbury Farmer’s Market.
Wildlife on Wheels – With Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue and Ranch

Learn about the importance of native wildlife, conservation and preservation. Presentations will include live animals along with skulls, pelts and bones.
Mad Science Earthworks
Cost $5.00, Wednesday July 10th, 10:30 AM in Mount Albert and 1:30 PM in Holland Landing
Ages 6-12. Dig into earth science with an exciting hands-on workshop exploring the amazing natural world of geology! Children will get to create their very own science experiment to take home.
Free, Thursday July 25th at 11AM in Mount Albert
Bee one with nature and get hands on with interactive bee keeper displays. Presented by local beekeeper Melanie Sparks
