Check Out the Internet
Use your library card to borrow a WiFi hotspot device to access the Internet outside of the Library. These devices will work anywhere there is cellular service within Canada. They can also be plugged directly into desktop computers to provide them with Internet access.
Hotspots can be taken out for 14 days, can be placed on hold, and renewed. We ask that they be returned to the circulation desk of the originating branch.
Chromebook Lending Program
Borrow light weight and easy to use laptops from our circulation desk if you haven’t brought your own device. These chromebooks are durable, simple, and powerful enough for most tasks around the Library, and paired with a Google account can be used for homework, browsing, photo editing and more. Chromebooks can be borrowed by any card holder over 11 years old, can be placed on hold, and are restricted for in-library use.
If you have any questions, or want to try it out, please ask the Circulation desk.

These computers have multiple internet browsers, and come with a full suite of office productivity software.
Patrons under the age of 14 must have the written permission of a parent or legal guardian prior to using the Internet workstations or wireless network. Permission forms are available at the reference desk.
Patrons using our Public Internet Stations can print at both branches.
