Tween Scene

 

Join other tweens once a month to hang out and do fun activities like creating painted jeans, candy wrapper wallets, and tin can robots! 

Ages 9 - 12 years.  Mount Albert Branch.  11:00 am - 12:00  pm.  Cost:  Free.  Please register by calling or visiting your local branch.

Saturday, June 15:  Let's Boogie!  Join our Wii dance party.  Light refreshments included.

Saturday, July 13:  Photo Collage  Create scrapbook pages using colourful paper and fun sticker art. Frame them or start your own scrapbooking project. Don’t forget to bring in your photos!

2013 Write On! Contest

The East Gwillimbury Public Library has opened its 2013 Write On! contest.  Use your creativity and writing skills and submit a poem or short story to our annual contest for students in grades 4 to 8. 

Submissions will be accepted at both the Holland Landing and Mount Albert branches until June 21, 2013.
